Abstract

In a previous report (1) on patch test reactions of chromate-sensitive subjects to trivaient chromium compounds, we postulated that two factors must be taken into account in order to interpret the results: the penetrability of the compound through the epidermal barrier, and the concentrations of the test solutions.
