Quantitative assessment of fat infiltration in the rotator cuff muscles using water-fat MRI

Abstract

An accurate and highly reproducible fat quantification in the rotator cuff muscles using water-fat magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques is possible and significantly correlates with shoulder pain and range of motion.
