Predictive Value of Neurochemical Monitoring in Large Middle Cerebral Artery Infarction

Abstract

In patients with large hemispheric infarction, bedside monitoring with microdialysis is feasible and might be helpful together with ICP recording to follow the development of malignant brain edema.
