In Vitro Assessment of Antimicrobial Properties of Rifampin-Coated Titan® Coloplast Penile Implants and Comparison with Inhibizone®

Abstract

Soaking Titan(®) -coated Coloplast implants in R10/G1 solution produces a zone of inhibition greater than that produced by Inhibizone(®) -coated penile implants. The clinical significance of this increased zone of inhibition can only be determined by a separate clinical study.
