Propagation of higher plants through tissue culture: a bridge between research and application

Abstract

The use of tissue culture in the propagation of higher plants was discussed. Recent advancements in this field were reported. The use of this method to study basic mechanisms of morphogenesis as well as its economic implications in horticulture and agriculture were discussed. (DC)
