Service provisioning to provide per-connection-based availability guarantee in WDM mesh networks

Abstract

We present availability analysis for WDM-mesh-network protection schemes. Based on the analysis, we propose cost-effective provisioning approaches to provide differentiated per-connection-based services to carry connections by appropriate routes and to protect them according to their availability requirements.
