New limit on the electric dipole moment of the<mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mi>Λ</mml:mi></mml:math>hyperon

Abstract

The electric dipole moment of the $\ensuremath{\Lambda}$ hyperon has been measured to be ${d}_{\ensuremath{\Lambda}}=(\ensuremath{-}3.0\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}7.4)\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{\ensuremath{-}17}e$ cm.
