Solvent self‐diffusion in the system polystyrene‐ethylbenzene in terms of the modified free‐volume theory

Abstract

Abstract The self‐diffusion of ethylbenzene in polystyrene has been measured by means of the NMR field‐gradient spin‐echo technique. It is shown that the values of the self‐diffusion coefficient can be estimated by the modified free‐volume theory of Vrentas and Duda.
