When aureomycin, the first significant agent of this group, became available, detailed clinical and laboratory studies were carried out in this clinic in an attempt to evaluate its efficacy in pneumonias due to various etiologic agents. The results1-4indicated that this antibiotic was highly effective in the treatment of the various types of cases in which it was used. The present paper deals with similar studies in...Bibliography1.
