Development of monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) that specifically recognize the plant hormone, (+)-(S)-abscisic acid (ABA) have enabled the development of ABA immunoassays (1,2). ABA measurement with these immunoassays is efficient, sensitive, and suitable for large numbers of samples (reviewed in ref. 3).
