of specimens. I am afraid that most physicians are guilty of sloppiness in this area. The last section, which covers management, is the weakest part of the book because it is the least critical. It would have been more effective if it had followed the format of the preceding sections and given step-by-step recommendations for a variety of clinical situations. However, it does cover most of the difficult management problems and presents sound advice. This little manual should be required reading for nurses and allied health personnel involved with collection of urine specimens. Doctors should not only buy it but read it. John D.
