Abstract Promoted by CuI/2‐hydroxybenzohydrazide catalytic system, a variety of pyrrole‐ and imidazole‐fused quinoxalines have been efficiently one‐pot synthesized from pyrrole‐/imidazole‐2‐carboxaldehyde and 2‐haloanilines in moderate to excellent yields.
