Abstract

Inorganic molecular sieves have a well‐defined internal structure of uniform cages, cavities, or channels–see the Figure for an example–making them suitable for many applications. Recently the inclusion of dyes and metal chelates as guests has been studied. The results are reviewed briefly, including the preparation and characterization of the host/guest system and the chemical reactivity. magnified image
