Blood pressure and left ventricular mass in subjects with type 2 diabetes and gingivitis or chronic periodontitis

Abstract

In subjects with type 2 diabetes, periodontitis and gingivitis are associated with increased LVM and periodontitis is associated with increased central and systemic blood pressure.
