The effects of coherent neutron scattering on the neutron spectrum in finite assemblies were investigated. Data on the time-dependent spectra in beryllium at 30 deg C were obtained by the phased-neutron-chopper/linear- electronaccelerator technique. Prominent crystalline effects were observed at Bragg energies of 0.022 and 0.0067 ev. (C.E.S.)
