Measurements are reported on the remanent fields in commercial 15,000-G Nb-- Zr solenoids at liquid-helium temperatures. The remanent field was in the form of a small positive peak near the center and a large negative peak at the end. and it saturated'' for magnetizing currents greater than 8 to 9 amp. The effects of heating and field changes on the remanent field were studied. (D.L.C.)
