Rethinking Hydrogen Cars

Abstract

There are three credible reasons for switching to hydrogen cars: reducing air pollution, reducing COemissions, and reducing oil consumption. Widespread deployment of hydrogen cars could support all three objectives--but, at least for the next quarter-century, in each case there are other options that could achieve these ends faster and far more cost-effectively.
