Abstract

MacDougalland Larson give the value of the dissociation constant for CaOAc+ as 0.15, whereas Davies finds it to be 1.0.Even the smaller value would yield practically complete dissociation at the highest concentration, 25 mM, of calcium acetate employed in the experiments reported in this paper.
