Uniportal versus biportal video-assisted thoracoscopic sympathectomy for palmar hyperhidrosis.

Abstract

Both uniportal and biportal video-assisted thoracoscopic sympathectomy are effective, safe, and minimally invasive for palmar hyperhidrosis. Comparing with the biportal approach, the uniportal approach causes less postoperative pain and less operative time, and is a more reasonable procedure in treatment of palmar hyperhidrosis.
