Microzooplankton samples were enumerated for seven stations taken off the Washington coast during July 1974. Oligotrich and tintinnid ciliates were the most common taxa encountered. Higher concentrations of ciliates occurred in a subsurface chlorophyll maximum layer at offshore sites.
