Multiobjective evolutionary algorithms for shape optimization of electrokinetic micro channels have been developed and implemented. An extension to the Strength Pareto Approach that enables targeting has been developed. The results of the automated optimization cycle show shapes previously obtained by physical understanding as well as novel shapes of even higher eciency.
