Unusually long Y choromosomes were found in leucocytes cultured from three male patients, one case each with mental retardation and azoospermia, and a patient suffering from measles. It was found that the length of the Y chromosome varied among cells derived from each case, as well as, among cells within the same individual. Autosomes and an X chromosome were apparently normal both morphologically and numerically in all the 3 cases.
