These studies confirm the feasibility of these novel immunotherapeutic approaches and demonstrate their potential antitumor activity. These approaches may be effective in patients with metastatic melanoma and other solid tumors, and they may ultimately be used to improve the efficacy of rIL-2-based immunotherapy.
