This report contains a compendium of information on countermeasures and waste disposal options applicable to agricultural areas and semi-natural ecosystems from which terrestrial foodstuffs are derived. A datasheet template was used to record, in a standardised format, information on all of the criteria that a decision-maker night wish to consider when evaluating different options. These include a short description of the option, its key attributes, constraints, effectiveness, feasabilty, waste generated, additional doses incurred, costs, side effects, stakeholder opinion and practical experience. Datasheets are presented for 29 countermeasures and 12 rural waste disposal options, all of which have undergone extensive peer review. The information provided is considered to be broadly applicable across the European Union.
