Field investigation of trace metals in groundwater from fly ash disposal

Abstract

A ponded flyash disposal site is studied in detail. Emphasis is on the extent of trace metal migration in groundwater from natural seepage. The investigation is conducted at Northern Indiana Public Service Co.'s Michigan City coal-fired generating station. Trace metals are released into the groundwater in low concentrations.
