A national survey of school psychologists was conducted to determine current clinical supervision practices and their concurrence with professional standards. Based upon an 82.3% response rate, it was found that less than one-quarter currently received individual and/or group supervision, and that supervision was often provided by persons whose terminal degree was not in school psychology. The results also indicated that the majority of current supervisory activities did not meet NASP or APA professional practice standards.
