Coagulation assessment in normal pregnancy: thrombelastography with citrated non activated samples.

Abstract

The main findings of this study confirm the hypercoagulability status of pregnant women at term. This coagulation pattern is well represented by thrombelastographic trace obtained by recalcified citrate blood sample.
