Therefore if b2 K34, both 1-exp [-b2t] and 1-exp [-K34t] are equal to 1. The only alternative is for b3 > K1(4 or K34 > b2. If b2 > K34 the intercept is negative, and if K34 > b2 the slope is zero, and so neither of these alternatives is possible.
