Neurological syndromes occurring most frequently in SLE patients include headache, polyneuropathy and cerebrovascular diseases. Antiphospholipid syndrome increases the risk of nervous system involvement. We found that APS was strongly associated with neurological manifestations and in particular with cerebrovascular diseases and seizures.
