Advantages of one-stage repair in case of gallstone ileus.

Abstract

Our results prove that the concomitant one-stage repair for gallstone ileus significantly reduces the overall mortality rate compared to the single enterolithotomy alone and later cholecystectomy based on patient symptoms.
