Chronic active disease pattern predicts early damage in juvenile systemic lupus erythematosus

Abstract

Damage was observed in nearly two-thirds of patients, and occurred earlier in the chronic active pattern. Disease duration, thrombocytopenia and alopecia at onset predicted damage.
