R.J. Bertini, R.M. Santucci, A.C. Arruda-Campos - Titanosaurs (Sauropoda : Saursichia) in the Continental Upper Cretaceous (Marilia Formation, Echapora Member) from Monte Alto, Sao Paulo State, and Correlation to Associated Forms from Triângulo Mineiro. Remains of sauropods (Titanosauridae) were collected from the sandstones of the Marilia Formation (Echapora Member), upper portion of the Bauru Group, from the vicinities of Monte Alto City, Sao Paulo State. These remains were analyzed in the context of the amniote fauna of the Marilia Formation, considering their paleoecologic, biostratigraphic and paleobiogeographical sets implications. These materials bring the possibility of correlation with Titanosauridae remains collected from the Serra da Galga Member of the Marilia Formation, Minas Gerais State. It is considered an Upper Campanian/Lower Maastrichtian age for the Echapora and Serra da Galga members of the Marilia Formation.
