Abstract

The article presents prehistoric astronomy research into the orientation of temples and sacred buildings in Ancient Egypt. Temples include Umm Ubayda Temple, Ain Qurayshat, and Bilad ar-Rum. Measurements were obtained using a clinometer and a high precision compass that had been corrected for local magnetic declination.
