About

Roll-to-roll fabrication is a continuous manufacturing methodology that applies materials and structures onto flexible substrates as they are transported from one roll to another. This technique is investigated as a high-throughput, scalable process for the production of flexible electronics, functional films, and other devices over large areas, representing a significant academic and industrial focus for enabling cost-effective mass production of flexible functional systems, contrasting with traditional batch processes.
