Poynting's Theorem
Poynting's Theorem is a fundamental theorem in classical electromagnetism that expresses the conservation of energy by relating the time rate of change of electromagnetic energy within a volume to the net power flux through its boundary and the ohmic losses, with the energy flow described by the Poynting vector.
