Kneser's Theorem

Kneser's Theorem is a foundational result in additive number theory that characterizes the structure of sumsets in abelian groups by asserting that if the sumset of two finite subsets has size less than the sum of their sizes minus the size of their stabilizer subgroup, then the sumset is periodic with respect to that stabilizer.
