Euler's Criterion
Euler's Criterion is a number-theoretic theorem that determines whether an integer is a quadratic residue modulo a prime by stating that an integer \( a \) is a quadratic residue modulo an odd prime \( p \) if and only if \( a^{(p-1)/2} \equiv 1 \pmod{p} \).
