Black women’s studies is an interdisciplinary academic field dedicated to the critical examination of the experiences, histories, cultures, and social positions of Black women. It investigates the complex intersections of race, gender, class, and other identity markers to challenge dominant narratives and produce knowledge from Black women's perspectives.
